With Enfeebling Blood you would be more useful in Hard Mode. Mark of Pain is something you should explore, too.

Get rid of Desecrate Enchantments and Arcane Echo (you can and should do more than spend all your energy on SS and AE) and get the Vanguard Ward of Courage and/or barbs when playing with Heroes and NPCS.

MM: Flesh Golem? Get Icy Veins, Putrid Bile, Necrosis and Rotting Flesh plus Dark Bond or Taste of Death. Aura of the Lich and a certain "Heir to their Master" build make also great MMs.

55HP Necro? Farming for crap drops? Better work on your title track for the HoM maybe, HM vanquishing and dungeons yield money, too, and it is a bit more exciting than farming of any kind.

Needs more [wiki]barbs[/wiki], especially if you use Minion Masters too in your team build. Barbs is murder when the minions start nibbling.

i dont go anywhere with a mm without barbs, its like -16 health degen with a group of 8-10 minions.

i personally done use echo in pve, unless im farming, it just uses too much energy. necrosis is awesome, i usually bring sig of lost souls and sig of sorrow, the first cause its free energy+health, the second, if somethings near a corpse, you can just wail on them, for free. desecrate enchantments and insidious parasite are good choices, and usually glued in my skill bar also. also, i also carry pain inverter EVERYWHERE. i usually cast it on an ele.

the mm buid, the only thing id change is ditch fg for Aotl.

im not claiming these are the end all be all suggestions, if someone sees a mistake, please correct me.

Apart from that, fast recharge mods > echo.

Barbs on MM... hmm.. too energy intensive. Just use OoU with Standard of Honor. If you have a paragon doing GFTE, each bone fiends deal around 80~100 dmg in HM. I don't even bother using anything other than bone fiends, since stuff dying all over the place before my heroes even finish a spell is a good justification that my self-heal can't keep up with OOU + Botm :/

I like this hero setup

Me (Curses, SS+MoP+Barbs etc. etc.)
Splinter-Barrage Ranger, mostly with a pet
Paragon (GFTE, either defensive anthem or focused anger) or another Ranger
Olias (synonymous for MM, at at least for me...^^)

Minion Masters have synergies with Curse Necros, Bone Fiends + MoP + Barbs + GFTE sounds like a good plan.

I am a big fan of Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom on my Necro. Gives all your casters over a 50% chance of half recharge time. I also still run AE but usually have Master of Whispers with me running Minion Bomber with Jagged so I rarely feel and energy crunch. Between my dual 20/20, Ebon Battle Standard, and Air of Superiority I can toss out obscene amounts of Spitefuls. With most mobs balling up at the Minion wall and their fast attack speed in HM they are decimated quickly. I tend to use Barbs mostly on bosses for fast killings by the minions. Enfeebling Blood is excellent for HM. Don't leave home without it =].

For MM there are really only two build I run anymore(well Master runs them for me mostly) and that is AotL with Fiends or Jagged Bones bomber. I prefer the bomber for HM as minions get killed often doing AoE damage and pumping Energy for both myself and Master(and usually Livia to fwiw). Again it depends on the area.
